Partnering with the Local Church

Intervention often requires a change in setting.  Many people need the grace of being removed from their environment so they can reorient their affections around Christ.  Redemption House has become an important resource for churches, missionaries and other ministries. Working with ministry leaders and biblical counselors across the US, we have now helped over 200 men and their families to worship their way out of addiction and to integrate into the local church.  With nearly 70% of our residents coming from out of state, we have served men from 22 different states and Canada.

“Redemption House is where I send my toughest cases.  Men typically leave there in a sweet repentant spot with the Lord and are well equipped for us to wrap them up in soul care here in the church” - Dan Turner, Soul Care Pastor - Harvest Spring Lake

Helping Those in Ministry

Ministry can be very challenging.  Pastors, deacons and missionaries are not immune to addiction.  Redemption House has become a critical resource where ministry leaders can engage with other men on a peer level.  We provide the opportunity for them to take refuge, develop intimacy with Christ and to walk out repentance in community with those that have a common struggle.  We work closely with elders and leadership teams to develop repentance and accountability plans so they can begin the careful and deliberate process of restoration.

“As someone who had so many times preached "The Gospel," I was missing it's transforming reality in my own life.  At Redemption House, I received loving and helpful Gospel-centered counsel, along with meaningful fellowship. I am deeply grateful to the Lord's kindness and redemption He put in motion through the fantastic team at Redemption House” - Joel A., Pastor
